Finke Gorge N.P., Palm Valley, N.T. #2

Looking up; it was just incredible to 'be there' seeing these formations, and the colour incredible too.

looking down, just watch your footing!

Ruby Dock

Looking back; see why I chose the shorter walk? Not good traction underfoot in many parts.

Enjoy, I did.

Hi Carole,
Nice place to walk, but good watch your step.
Good thing you did the shorter route.

So very much like places in our Southwest. I would love to explore around there but I know you have a lot of dangerous critters there unlike here where we do not.

What a wonderful place to be with a camera, Carole. I would be tempted to climb on those rocks, but they do look pretty slippery in places! :-)

Thank you, thank you. These are beautiful. The strong earthy colours, the softness of the vegetation. And the last shot - could you find anything more beautiful anywhere?

Very interesting and beautiful spot you captures images from! Interesting to see that leaves of the water lilies in your last picture looks like a four-leaved clover!

A wonderful walk with treasures untold ... I 'm pleased you didn't trip up Carole as us photographers tend to get carried away looking for photo opportunities. Beautiful images of real-Australia.
