Glen Helen Gorge, Northern Territory - Part Two

oops, wonder what it had belonged to?

the late afternoon sun made for pretty highlights in the flowering grass-heads

 while shadows are getting longer

and, as was shown in my very first post from the Northern Territory --- here was the sun setting at one end of the gorge, and the moon showing at the other.

What gorgeous scenery! I love it when the sun and moon are both visible in the sky.

These are great photos Carole.
The setting sun and the moon on the other hand, I find this super.
Too bad about the egg that will not hatch.
Photo 3 is a beautiful landscape.

Such wild beauty in this place, and especially love the shots of the sunset and moon rise at the same time.
