I chose to stroll around with my cuppa in hand, and pick up some photographs before we continued on. That meant taking in the unique view, so different to that near home, enjoying the coffee, and considering the next photo must-have. Every now and then, my coffee cup was rested on the ground, while I got a grip on my camera instead.
I'm so glad I did, because I wouldn't remember each stop and the scene there; there were so many over ten days in various locations. Now I get to re-live it all again! I wish it weren't so far away...
and a little later, this brief stop; we were on our way to Palm Valley still

These scenes are so much like our high desert here in the west of America. I'd love it too.
It's so beautiful there - you'll have many nice "photo" memories of it!
When the memories start to fade you will be so thankful you took the time to take these photos. I love how when I look at a photo from many years ago, the feeling, as well as the sight, of a place comes back to me. These photos are lovely!
Great photos! A fascinating area. So different to my country!
Beaut to see everything Carole. Enjoying the trip :D)
Those colours are so impressive, I know what you mean. Awesome country :D)
You have brought back the memories of our trip there. It is bumpy and it is beautiful scenery. Uniquely Australian.
On trips, and especially this one, you have gathered so many impressions that you need to capture the places to remember for later. What a fun looking bus you were riding in. I like it. Beautiful pictures. It reminds me of the west in USA.
It is wonderful to look back at your vacation photos to "put yourself back there" isn't it!! I love your photos! You went to amazing places!! Thanks for sharing! hugs, Laura
