it's all about the trees

They come is a myriad of shapes and sizes of course; here is just a sample I'd stopped to admire over the past few days while up the north coast, Forster/Tuncurry region.

The purpose of this trip was to observe birds, so along the way, many tree forms were taken into account.  You can if you wish find a link to the most recent post to a raptor sighting, via my sidebar photo for Snap Happy Birding.

Lots of really cool looking trees. I like that twisted one about #3 in the line up.

Beautiful, exotic (to me) trees. In previous travels to Australia, I remember being struck by all the different foliage. It was such a welcome feast for the eyes.

Beautiful trees Carole. I'm always an admirer of them, their bark and gnarly bits and also the silhouettes they make against the sky. Homes to so many :D)
