the sun has bought about pink tones to the Hardenbergia, often known as the Happy Wanderer. The serrated leaves belong to a Banksia though.
it really is a blue-tone/purple flower.

I look forward to seeing more of your wildflowers Carole. Each area has their own different species. These are beautiful. At least you know the names of them, unfortunately I only know the common ones, but I am learning thanks to an 84 year old who likes to share his knowledge of the local area.

What a beautiful welcome to your spring season! These (and the flowers below) are all amazing (and mostly different completely from what we'd see ...even if it were spring!)
