in all its glory ...

Well as luck would have it for me, I took this photograph of a Melaleuca (Paperbark) tree, just four weeks ago.  Today I learnt that it has since been removed by local council.  Located in a public reserve, it must've been considered a possible danger threat.

What a beautiful image Carole. I am glad you got it before it was taken down.

Hi Carole Well I got there. When it comes through, it was not grey, just the same until you clicked it and then it was underlines. Perhaps putting that Text in yellow would do the trick. Anyway, that tree is fantastic and I can't believe it is not there now. Pity. I love your header. I wish you good fortunate on your new blog.

What a great pity that the church this colossal tree removed Carole. There have indeed been danger or they get such a huge tree not.

Looks good to me. I did have to slide the screen over to view the sidebar but the image itself was fine. Not sure as how to follow. Do the subscribe by email thing I think.

Hi Carole ; I first started following your blog when it was craft related , but have enjoyed your pictures of the birds and other "critters" , the flowers and trees , and the city and town views in Australia as well - so different from ours here in Canada . I look forward to what will be on offer on this new blog. Thank you for taking the time to share .

thanks everyone for your comments - food for thoughts. Because this is a second-blog, I don't intend to be creating two blog posts in a day; rather I plan to alternate between the two. Sometimes there'll be little to offer on one title and there will be the necessary lull there. We'll just see where it meanders for a while.

Hi Carole Me again. Yes as another peerson said, it is slightly wide for the screen. That can be annoying. Also how do we follow the blog? there is no joining up bit or do we do it via email?

I reckon all trees are pieces of art, especially this one.

Hi Margaret, there is various options to subscribe (maybe too many options) or join, on the sidebar. Join either by Google/Friend Connect, or G+ Add to Circles
